They Made it to One Year!!

Our daughter Amelia and her husband Jon came to visit from Houston, TX for the holidays. That meant that we got to share their first year anniversary with them!
Of course, since we take photos, they wanted a photography shoot.
The weather was extremely cooperative and the sunshine was perfect, not to mention that these two are very photogenic and lots of fun!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!

Here's to many, many more anniversaries!!

November Shoots

Yep, I realize that December will be over tonight, but my right arm has been almost useless for over 3 weeks, so that's my excuse for not blogging. Doctor's orders - no computer. Talk about some withdrawals!!
Just after Thanksgiving, we took our girls down to a cute little park to test out the site for an upcoming photo shoot. Talk about fun! These are two girls with some strong personality. It's taken me awhile to understand and appreciate their interactions.

Introducing: Sisters: Jessica and Rachel!!

Smith family:
Talk about some beautiful people!
We got to do their family photos just before two (the 2 in the middle) of their children leave for missions!! It was a cold morning and everyone was shivering a little, but I think the photos turned out great!

You get some great pictures! Blue eyes and blond hair galore, plus lots of smiles and personality!

Cute Girls!!
Loves to pose!!
Just in time for those Christmas cards too. We had a few minor glitches, but all in all, it was a great shoot!
You can tell by the results!

Some of our Favorite Soccer Pics

Our high school girls soccer season is over - a bittersweet feeling. While we will miss sitting in the stands and chatting with other parents, cheering our girls on, and sharing the exhilaration of a truly great winning season, we are also glad to have our evenings back and not be shopping for the concessions.
Here are some of our favorite pictures:

Still catching up....

I'm home now - back from a wonderful trip to Houston to visit my daughter Amelia and her husband, Jon. She really got me caught up with my blog and helped me to not feel so afraid of posting on it. Let's see how I do!!

Here goes.... We have also had the opportunity this fall to do some family photos for my co-worker Maryann and her new blended family! 3 + 4 = 7 beautiful children and they were delightful to work with!! Here's a sampling of the photo shoot - taken at St. George Golf course and downtown St. George. Aren't they cute peoples??

What a handsome family - taken near the Judd Store, downtown St. George.

Hand in hand - what a great way to start this new life together!

Soccer Season = getting behind on everything!

Both of our girls played high school soccer this year and had a fantastic season. But, spending 5 hours 2 days a week at the fields supporting them meant that I really let my blog fall behind. Well, actually, it's also because blogging intimidates me, but I'd rather blame it on soccer. The girls team took Region title with 11 wins and only 1 loss. Pretty Amazing!!

She has an amazing kick!

She Stole My Heart...

While watching my girls soccer games, this little girl caught my eye- and stole my heart! Isn't she precious?

Maryann and Jared's Wedding

My co-worker Maryann was just married to an amazing guy, and we had the opportunity to take their pictures! Since one of their favorite things to do is golf, of course we took the pictures at St. George Golf course. Enjoy!

Kristen and Spencer

In February, we had the opportunity to shoot engagements for Kristen and Spencer. They were a cute and fun couple to work with. I've known Kristen since she was about 10 years old, so I have a soft spot for her, and she's grown into such a beautiful young woman.

Family Photos of the Hobbs family

We had the opportunity this month to do some family photos for Maryann Hobbs and her 3 children. They were so fun to work with and were up for anything. We went down to Ancestor Square in downtown St. George where there are a myriad of terrific settings. We were racing against the sun setting and the kids getting tired, but in about 45 minutes time, we managed to get some great shots. Sharing silly jokes and making funny faces kept us all laughing!
